Michigan Vet Fest Music Festival 2014

Annual event is now called Music Fest 4 Vets, click → Annual music festival in Metro Detroit since 2006, supports U.S. Veterans.

Michigan Vet Fest 2014 Details

Motor City Eagles (F.O.E. 2265). 24401 5 Mile Rd, Redford Twp, MI 48239.
phone: 313-531-7393. Located on south side of 5 Mile, just west of Telegraph Rd.

Free Admission but a donation of $5 or more was suggested because ALL door donations went to Wounded Warrior Project, Veterans Haven, and Operation Ward 57.

Saturday:  Noon to 1 am
Sunday:    Noon to 10 pm

All ages public event. In addition to variety music entertainment, there were raffles, prizes, giveaways, surprise celebrity appearances.

Sunday night featured the first Michigan Vet Fest GRAND JAM as the grand finale to close the event. It's an open jam / open mic format. All Musicians were invited for an additional opportunity to rock the house in support of veterans.

Motor City Eagles (F.O.E. 2265), a private non-profit organization, donated the use of their building at no charge to support our veterans and also supplied many volunteers. Their motto is People Helping People.

– a rockin' country band that features lead female vocalists, Rebecca Craft and Carly Collura. We play all the Angry Girl country songs with passion and energy. Mark Klein on lead guitar and vocals covers all the guy tunes and together with the ladies we cover the entire New Country Genre. We mix danceable, country songs with classic rock favorites that draw a crowd to the dance floor.  facebook

No showcase performance because he does not use MVF to promote himself. But just for the fun of it, he might sit in with a band for a few songs or join the open jam Grand Jam Finale.

Double D DJ/Karaoke – in metro Detroit. Dave has huge song lists for karaoke and general DJ party/dance events. He played dance/party music between showcase performances, all day, both days!
